      <image:caption>Under fysioterapistudiene i Nederland ble jeg brått veldig dårlig. Fordøyelsen slo seg vrang og i løpet av uker ble alt av energi og overskudd borte, sammen med 10KG. Magetrøbbel som forstoppelse, diaré, og smerter ble sammen med feber, slapphet, hodepine og søvnproblemer en del av hverdagen. Utmattet, nedstemt og uten matlyst (for første gang i mitt liv) dro jeg hjem til Norge for å utrede tilstanden. Etter ulike undersøkelser og prøver fikk jeg tre ulike teorier for plagene: Irritert tarm syndrom (IBS) Tarmparasitt Gallestein Fortvilelsen var stor. Heldigvis var interessen for kosthold og naturlig mat allerede til stedet, og jeg valgte å takke nei til både antibiotika og fjerning av galleblære. Jeg ville heller prøve på naturlig vis, naturligvis. Jeg forsøkte å gi kroppen mest mulig næringsrik og ubehandlet mat. Grønne smothies og varmende supper fikk fordøyelsen på gli igjen.  I 2012 la jeg om til steinalderkost(paleo). Så og si alt av mat ble laget fra bunn; grønnsaker, frukt, bær, nøtter, frø og animalsk protein. Formen ble gradvis bedre og bedre, og jeg følte meg etter hvert mer tilfreds, balansert og konsentrert enn noen gang. Et par år senere fikk jeg også øynene opp for fermentert mat og funksjonell medisin, og med dette ble fordøyelsen helt bra. På mirakuløst vis ble også migrenen som jeg har slitt med siden barneskolen mye bedre!</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dette motiverte meg til å bruke hundrevis av timer på selvstudier i form av bøker, vitenskapelige artikler, podcaster, dokumentarer og nettsteder for å sette meg inn i ernæring. Dette førte til en kostholdsrådgiver-sertifisering gjennom mf Gruppen. Jeg ønsker å tilby en helhetlig tilnærming slik at vi sammen kan oppnå et langvarig resultat, enten det innebærer mindre smerte, mer overskudd, bedre fordøyelse eller å prestere bedre. I dag jobber jeg med livsstilveiledning for mennesker på daglig basis og sprer budskapet om tarmhelse, ernæring og livsstil gjennom kurs og foredrag. Jeg ønsker å samarbeide med de som har behov for behandling og veiledning hvor de selv er aktive aktører i prosessen.</image:caption>
